Mike LinhartMichael (Mike) Linhart was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from MIAT in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his A&P in 2010 he moved to California to avoid doing maintenance in the snow. He has since received his IA (Inspection Authorization) Certificate and has logged thousands of hours working on every type of aircraft that enables him to share the knowledge he has gained with others. His love of aviation has spread into the inception of a nonprofit, A Different Point of View, that provides young adults with access and opportunities within the aviation industry, for which he serves as a mentor and Board President.

Angi DausAngi Daus has a passion for building community connection through service. Youth development through providing unique experiences provided to underserved populations is one avenue that is of great value to her. Other areas of interest and work include art, environmental conservation, public health, social justice and leadership development. Angi has her MPA from Metroplotain State University in St. Paul, Minnesota and her BA from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Angi grew up in Wisconsin but has been grateful to call beautiful California her home since 2014. It serves her needs to be outside running, hiking, backpacking, walking her dog and wine tasting.

Joe MooreJoseph (Joe) Moore grew up in Lake Tahoe, California. After moving to Santa Barbara to attend Santa Barbara City College he quickly found his passion for flying while interning at a local flight school. This is where he was first introduced to ADPOV and had the pleasure of volunteering during aviation career camps. He has since become a commercial pilot and is active in the local general aviation community and volunteers with multiple local non-profits that utilize aviation to complete their missions. Joe is currently flying as a first officer on a CJ3 for a local charter company. In his free time Joe enjoys flying his 1964 V Tail Bonanza on trips all over the west coast. Joe has been a member of the board of ADPOV since 2018 and at the end of 2019 assumed the role of vice president.

Jamie DufekJamie Dufek has been serving on the board of ADPOV since 2016. A native Minnesotan, she earned a BA in Studio Art and holds a MBA with a specific focus in nonprofit management and corporate social responsibility. Currently she works for TIGER 21, a membership organization for successful, high-net worth entrepreneurs and has her own consulting business for non-profits focused on fundraising and board cultivation. Jamie's passion is centered around service and community, and currently serves as Board President of The Arts Fund and Communications Chair for The Women's Fund. Jamie is a mixed media and print artist and teaches art classes on the West Side with students K-12. She believes in empowering our youth feels fortunate to be able to be part of ADPOV's board of directors.

Steve AikinsSteve Aikins is a third generation pilot following in his grandfather's and Aunt's footsteps. He caught the aviation bug a bit later than most, as being an airline pilot has not always been his job. He earned a biology degree from Cal Poly- San Luis Obispo, served in the Peace Corps - Nicaragua and taught middle school science for 6 years. With that diverse experience, he enjoys bringing what he can to A Different Point Of View. From the moment he gave his first flight lesson to several ADPOV youth, he knew that he wanted to be involved. He is grateful to be part of such a wonderful team and watch our youth be engaged and inspired!

Jessie DavidsonJessie Davidson is an instrument-rated private pilot who has flown across the United States in a Cessna 182 and competed in the all-women’s Air Race Classic. Jessie’s professional interests are rooted in creating educational experiences that are interactive and inspiring, like the programs ADPOV offers. As a pilot and cancer survivor, Jessie hopes to empower our students and offer insight into the pure joy of flight and all that can be experienced when you set your sights on a goal, feel the support of your community, and overcome even the most daunting of hurdles that life presents.

Gregory DierenfieldGregory (Greg) D. Dierenfield holds the position of First Officer flying for Alaska Airlines out of Los Angeles, California. His professional responsibilities include being second in command of a Boeing 737 aircraft -flying thousands of passengers annually to destinations throughout North America, Central America and Hawaii. Greg is also a Major in the United States Air Force Reserve serving as the Space Mission Chief of Current Operations at Vandenberg AFB in California. In this position, Greg is the leader of a 10-person crew force conducting command and control of 58 global tactical military units executing the day-to-day DoD space mission. Additionally, Greg is the Deputy Chief Of Training for his 130+ person squadron ensuring all members maintain proficiency in their respective warfighter roles.
