A Different Point of View
A Different Point of View (ADPOV) is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to engage, inspire and transform youth who are in danger of loosing their way by teaching them to fly. Through aviation education and mentoring, we show students a world they've never seen before!
AVIATION CAREER PROGRAM
We are taking applications for our Aviation Career Program. Students receive professional flight training, ground school, leadership training, field trips to an air traffic control tower and other aviation industries. Students meet and interact with airline captains, air traffic controllers, FBO managers, airport administrators, flight attendants and airplane mechanics. Sign up today as seats are limited!
Contact: Lynn@ADifferentPointofView.org to register. Scholarships will be available for those who qualify.
Who We Work With
The primary charitable purpose of A Different Point of View is to provide underserved youth between the ages of 15 and 18 opportunities to expand their perspectives through life-enhancing activities such as flight lessons. Learning how to fly provides an exciting, real-life application of the math and science students learn in school. We feel the best STEM learning can happen through the hands-on experience of flight lessons and other aviation career activities.
ADPOV provides opportunities for youth throughout Santa Barbara County.
